Otavalo and Peguche

Here in Otavalo crafts market are held, the largest in Ecuador. There are directed artisans from all regions of Ecuador. To sell their crafts and stock of raw materials to continue working. All village streets then become a chaos of color, voices, smells, of goods that change hands to another.

There is always something to distract and to enjoy, as everyone knows, the issue is that nobody gets bored in this market. 

Peguche is a village very near Otavalo, the resident population is mainly indigenous. This town is famous for La Cascada. It is said that the June 22 Shamans go there to bathe and cleanse themselves from all evil spirits.
