Argentina

The route begins
Rucksack, on the back and it has to walk
From Humahuaca, we were bound for Iruya.

After passing the Abra del Condor, you discover a landscape of mountains.

Among Ravines and Canyons, there lies Iruya
The bus takes us to Cafayate, the land of the water.

Like a historian explains the place.

A town of endearing people.

Quiet, where you grow and play.

Or where you stop and rest.

After some days, difficult to forget, in the vicinity of the Garganta del Diablo.
In silence, I set forth to the south.

Here begins a part of my journey.
One of the sweetest and most pleasing memories that comes to my mind.
The path opens before you
And i decide the way.

Until Guimes, i arrived by hitchhike.
And there, i wandered among its ruins.

The San Pedros proud of a story that only they know, stand trying to reach the sky.

A city built in stone.

Today these ruins belong to the Province of Tucuman in the north of Argentina.
Discovered in 1897, the population that lived here dates back to 800 BC. Being one of the major emphases of Argentina at that time.

Bound for the South, I leave the aridity of this land, to know the fertility of Salta.
