Himalayas.
Home of the Apus. Majestic Mountains, With jagged peak.
A place of Gods, legends and myths.
Where your desires, are taken on the winds.
Amidst the beauty, it is difficult, to decide a single path.
Famous, among climbers and Mountaineers. However this is also the land of the Sherpas, the Porters land.
Without them, the history of these mountains and their conquests would be different.
A place where living conditions arre hash.
Where resources are just as scarce.
This is the price that they must pay.
The Villages.
The people.
In order to conserve their freedom, that which these mountains have to offer.
Ane their sweet innocence.
That the sentries are quarding from the sky.
And from the earth.
They ensure this delicate ecosystem.
Tourism has brought a fictitious quality of life and development.
But not the resources to manage the waste of this new way of life.
Its people try to get rid of the traces of tourism, as they can.
Some, have already decided to flee.
Others have perished. For the benefit of others.
Maybe it´s time to sit and debate.
And the presumed benefit of the massive tourism in these villages.
The repercussions for their culture.
In their lifestyles and traditions.
The Impact in causes, in this fragile ecosystem. A paradise of Gods.
It´s still not too late to retreat.
And respect, such delicate beauty.
