Tupiza

Tupiza, a remote place that is below the province of Potosi.
Its dramatic typography is the product of the erosion of the winds and rains that are chanelled down the Tupiza river.

Exposed before your eyes, the baron hills and the red coloured canyons.

A place of equestrian heritage, due to strategic point for the cavalry, during the times of war.
It makes this area a special place for every Robin Hood that cares.

The arid lands create the most spectacular San Pedros.

The Saints and Patrons of all good trips hehehehe....

Here is a good regular service for buses.

Although i dont know if the bus drivers can be trusted.
It was here that i had my first experience,
a kind that you cannot forget
an 'out of body' experience....equestrian hehehe

Her name is Ginger
And although a little soul, she is charming.
With her and in the company of my personal instructor.

We explore all the corners of this desert, where the San Pedros stand proud surviving in these arid conditions.

At the base of these sharp walls,

The village that appears deserted, still harbours life.

A form of life that is arduous and tiresome,

But the populations are resistent to leave.
